A few years ago Stephen Covey’s classic, Seven Habits for Highly Effective People, was voted one of the most influential books of the last 25 years. If you’ve read Seven Habits you will, no doubt, agree that it’s a tremendous book.

FranklinCovey has recently re-packaged its Seven Habits workshop. Calling it The Seven Habits for Highly Effective People Signature Series, it provides a tremendous training opportunity for anyone interested in taking their life and ministry to a higher level.

Through a special arrangement with FranklinCovey, the Center for Effective Leadership is now licensed to provide The Seven Habits for Highly Effective People Signature Series  to Texas Baptist pastors, church staffs and lay leaders. We are also able to offer this workshop to ministerial students preparing for vocational ministry and to the faculty of such students.

The American Management Association offers this training at a cost of $1800-$2000 per person. The Center for Effective Leadership is able to offer the same workshop to those who qualify at a cost of $395 per person. If you would like to know more about the Seven Habits material or discuss the possibility of a Seven Habits workshop in your area please contact Ron Herring at ron.herring@texasaptists.org or 214.828.5169.

Testimonials for recent Seven Habits workshop attendees

I recently participated in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training hosted by the Center for Effective Leadership. I have to say that it just may have been the best seminar I’ve ever attended.  Our conference leader was outstanding.  The “7 Habits” fit right in with a Christian perspective on how we see ourselves, set our priorities, and relate to others.  I’m continuing to use what I learned to make these 7 Habits a part of my daily life.  Rita Griffith, Administrative Assistant Texas Baptist Mission Foundation

I’ve attended several motivational and “life changing” programs.  Only the “Seven Habits” Covey training generated excitement that has lasted longer than a few days.  It’s good enough that I am paying for wife to attend the next class!  You, however, may not be a candidate for this experience if all of your interpersonal relationships are grand, you are being as effective in your work as you desire, and your organizational and time management skills are exemplary. I needed it!  Ivan Potter, United We Build Consultant
